Oregon's Timeless Literary Treasure
From 2011-2012, Literary Arts selected The Dojo Agency as its marketing and advertising Agency of Record. As a recognized leader in Portland’s cultural arts community and in the national literary scene, we were proud to connect and provide numerous pro bono services. We underwent a competitive review process and rigorous testing period, where we remained passionate about our vision and our alignment with numerous literary projects and luminaries.
Oregonians are passionate about books, ideas, and great writing. Literary Arts shares this passion. Their mission is to engage readers, support writers and inspire the next generation with great literature. The programs of Literary Arts include: Writers in the Schools, Oregon Book Awards & Fellowships, Portland Arts & Lectures and Delve: Readers' Seminars.
The Oregon Book Awards and Fellowships
Literary Arts is a nonprofit literary center on a mission to engage readers, support writers, and inspire the next generation with great literature. The Oregon Book Awards and Fellowships is one of their flagship programs to support, promote and celebrate our local writers and publishers. OBA's also have an Awards Author Tour throughout Oregon with readings, class visits and workshops. It's a vital program for many Oregon writers and publishers who have benefitted as recipients. We helped establish a new look and feel for OBA for the 2011-2012 season, and provided production support for the 2012-2103 season. To establish the new look, we worked closely with the Literary Arts nonprofit team. It was important to unify the OBA's with the PA&L program and the overall Literary Arts brand look. We created the performance programs and the signage for the events.
